Processors are interested in reducing raw milk prices
Raw milk prices in Ukraine as of March 27 remained unchanged since the Association of Milk Producers conducted preliminary monitoring on March 13. But on the spot market, milk still became cheaper by 19 kopecks.
The weighted average price of milk remains stable, despite changes in grades
Purchase prices for milk in the first decade of February showed a slight decrease. The reason for the decrease in all grades is the limited demand for dairy products on foreign markets, as well as certain circumstances on the Ukrainian market.
GDT auctions: the biggest increase in butter

The dairy industry experienced the greatest losses in production volume in the first months of the war. The occupation of the territories and military actions had the effect that a large number of livestock was simply destroyed by the russian invaders, and part of the economy was forced to be sold for nothing, at best, to be transported to safer regions. Interruptions in the supply of fodder and veterinary drugs, as well as the supply of electricity, also had an impact on the productivity of cows, which ultimately led to a reduction in the total weight of production.
