45 Ukrainian producers have the right to export dairy products

45 operators of the Ukrainian market have the right to export dairy products. Of them, 19 received such an opportunity in 2022, and 5 this year.

Acting head of the State Service of Ukraine of Food Safety and Consumer Protection Olha Shevchenko reported this.

"That is, in fact, half of the exporters appeared during the martial law," she added.

Such demand from Ukrainian dairy producers is caused by the possibilities of European logistics. More and more domestic producers meet the requirements of national and European legislation, emphasized Olha Shevchenko.

"And taking into account the fact that the export of dairy products has been possible since 2016, the period of 2022-2023 shows excellent indicators of an increase in the number of exporters," she is convinced.

Olha Shevchenko also reported that negotiations with Canada, India, and the expansion of cooperation with China are ongoing.

"We are waiting for feedback from representatives of the dairy business regarding countries that are of interest to them right now," she emphasized.
